THE IMPACT OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT ON THE COUNTRY’S AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the production of agricultural products in the country, focusing on statistical data from 2022 to 2024. In 2022, FDI inflows into the agricultural sector reached $5 billion, representing a 15% increase from the previous year, which correlated with a 10% rise in agricultural output. By 2023, FDI was projected to grow by an additional 20%, amounting to $6 billion, leading to an estimated increase in production efficiency by 12%, as evidenced by advancements in technology and improved farming practices facilitated by foreign partnerships.
