In this article, the author talks about the Grammar Translation Method (GTM) which is a traditional approach to language teaching that emphasizes the systematic study of grammar rules, vocabulary memorization, and the translation of texts between the target language and the students’ native language. This method focuses on reading and writing over speaking and listening, making it less communicative but highly effective for learners aiming to develop analytical language skills.
